Application Architecture

SanR is a decentralised application that makes use of Santiment Intelligence Network and allows its users to bring and utilise the intelligent data in the Web3 space.

The overall architecture is explained in the picture below:

SanR Frontend​

These applications enable users to access the features provided by the SanR platform, such as viewing intelligent data feeds, creating predictions, participating in competitions, and building own reputation. The frontend communicates with the SanR Backend service and the Santiment Network to retrieve and display data, as well as interact with data storage and smart-contracts.

Components:

  • Web Application: A user-facing interface accessible through Web browsers.
  • Mobile Application: A mobile-friendly application that allows users to interact with the SanR platform on their mobile devices.

SanR Backend​

The backend service processes requests from the frontend and interacts with the Santiment Network to execute functions of smart contracts. It also manages data storage, ensuring that the necessary data is stored securely and efficiently.

Components:

  • API: Facilitates communication between the frontend and the Santiment Network. It acts as the central processing unit of the SanR system.
  • Price Oracles: Provide real-time pricing data for the Santiment Network.

Santiment Network​

The Santiment Network is the core of the SanR ecosystem, providing the Intelligence layer needed for operations and decision-making processes, by executing smart contracts.

Smart-contracts:

  • Prediction Contract: Manages predictions, and other forms of data that are crucial for decision-making within the network.
  • Predictions Contract: Manages predictions related to market outcomes, allowing to store, change and retrieve them, as well as adding it to the competition.
  • Competitions Contract: Manages the logic and execution of competitions or gamified elements within the system.
  • Price Contract: Handles the management and dissemination of price data within the network.

zcSync​

zcSync chain handles auxiliary functions that support the main operations of the Santiment Network, particularly around purchasing the keys and subscription management.

Components:

  • SanR Keys: Manages cryptographic keys, used for accessing gated data (predictions) within the ecosystem.
  • NFT Subscriptions: Handles subscriptions to Sanbase platform via NFTs.

Data Storage​

Stores data necessary for the SanR Backend's operation, including prediction data, user information, and other critical records.

SanBase API​

The SanBase API is part of santiment.net services and acts as an external data provider for SanR, offering valuable metrics that can be integrated into the Santiment Intelligence Network. It provides various metrics that can be used for analysis and decision-making within the SanR ecosystem.

Telegram Bot​

Providing notifications related to the SanR ecosystem. The notifications are sent based on current user’s subscriptions to other users’ predictions, indicating some important events like opening or closing a prediction.
